New Girl, You Are Officially On Thin Ice

I gave you a chance, New Girl. When I saw the previews, I assumed you were little more than a TV executive’s fever dream of what a twee hipster nightmare Manic Pixie Dream girl sitcom would entail. But I had hope. In what seems kind of uncharacteristic on my behalf, I don’t hate Zooey Deschanel… and I do love Deputy Leo, so I gave you a chance.

But the chance is over, and you are officially on notice. Step up the game (in what I assumed would be the words of Coach… Awww, Coach) or I’m banning you from my DVR. FOREVER.
